Is it difficult to have a baby at 40?

Hi, I am 40 yrs old and have been TTC since February10, I fell preggers June10 which ended in an emergency op (eptopic) and removal of fallop tube, fell pregars again December10, miscarried 23rd January11. I was just hoping someone can help, or advise. Is its my age? Will I ever be able to carry full term and have a healthy baby? Am I worrying uneccessarily?
