David and Victoria Beckham have announced they are expecting their fourth child this summer.
Football star David announced the news at the weekend on Facebook.
The couple's three sons - Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5 - were said to be "very excited" about having a new brother or sister.
Former England captain David, 35, was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur but manager Harry Redknapp admitted today the deal "looked like a no-goer".
The message on David Beckham's Facebook page said: "I've got some great news to tell you all. Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer. The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister."
The spokeswoman for the Beckhams declined to confirm the due date of Beckham number four but only that he/she will arrive this summer.
